Common questions about our work
What exactly do you do, and what do you not do?
We sort, label, and build archive structures for a family's own documents. We also explain succession and estate concepts in plain language. We do not offer legal advice, financial advice, valuations, or any form of professional representation. For those matters we direct families to the appropriate licensed practitioners.
Do you take original documents away?
No. All original documents remain with the family at all times. We work with what you bring to the session, help you create a clear filing and labelling system, and return everything to you organised and indexed by the end of the appointment.
How long does a session typically take?
A Document Sorting Session usually runs two to three hours. The Succession Concepts Education session is typically two hours. The Catalogue, Archive & Wishes Programme spans several sessions arranged over a few weeks, with timing agreed to suit the family's schedule.
Is the education session really just educational — will I receive advice?
The Succession Concepts Education session is entirely educational. We explain how things generally work, describe commonly encountered documents, and signpost you toward official bodies and licensed professionals. We do not review your personal estate, offer opinions on entitlements, or make recommendations about specific decisions.
We are not based in Krabi — can we still use your services?
Yes. While we are based in Krabi, we can arrange remote sessions via video call for families elsewhere in Thailand. For the document sorting sessions, some families prefer to visit in person, but we can discuss what works best during an initial conversation.
How do I know which service is right for us?
We are happy to have a brief preliminary conversation — by phone or email — to understand where your family is, and suggest which session or programme would be most useful. There is no obligation attached to that conversation.
