Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• "Bequest" means the business operating under that name from 64 Maharat Road, Pak Nam, Mueang, Krabi 81000, Thailand.
• "Services" means the document sorting, succession concepts education, and catalogue/archive/wishes sessions and programmes offered by Bequest.
• "Client" or "you" means the individual or family engaging Bequest for any Service.
• "Session" means a scheduled appointment for any Service.
• "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions together with any session confirmation issued by Bequest.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session or submitting an enquiry form on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.

Our Services are available to individuals aged 18 and over who have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement under Thai law.

3. Nature of Our Services

Bequest provides document organisation, archiving, and educational services only. Our Services do not constitute and must not be taken as:

• Legal advice, legal representation, or any form of legal service.
• Financial advice, investment advice, or any regulated financial service.
• Valuations of any asset, property, or estate.
• Professional representation before any court, government body, or official institution.

For matters requiring professional advice, we will signpost Clients toward appropriate licensed practitioners and official bodies. We do not recommend specific individual practitioners.

4. Bookings and Confirmations

• Bookings are confirmed by written confirmation from Bequest (by email or in writing).
• Sessions are subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the Client's preferred timing.
• A booking is complete when Bequest has issued written confirmation and the agreed fee has been received (or a payment arrangement confirmed).

5. Fees and Payment

• Document Sorting Session: ฿3,600 per session.
• Succession Concepts Education: ฿9,600 per session.
• Catalogue, Archive & Wishes Programme: ฿31,000 for the full programme.
• Fees are payable in Thai Baht (THB). Payment is due before or at the time of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• Prices may be revised from time to time. Any change will be communicated before a booking is confirmed.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made 48 or more hours before a session: full refund or reschedule at no charge.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a session: 50% of the session fee may be retained to cover preparation time.
• Cancellations by Bequest: full refund will be issued or an alternative date offered.
• The Catalogue, Archive & Wishes Programme fee is non-refundable once the first session has taken place, except where Bequest cancels the programme.

7. Client Responsibilities

• The Client is responsible for bringing all documents to be sorted or reviewed to the session.
• All original documents remain the property of the Client at all times. Bequest takes no custody of original documents.
• The Client confirms they have the right to handle the documents they bring to a session.
• The Client is responsible for following up with appropriate licensed professionals for any matters requiring formal legal or official action.

8. Intellectual Property

Index templates, session guides, maintenance documents, and other materials produced by Bequest are shared with the Client for their personal use. They may not be reproduced or distributed commercially without Bequest's written consent.

All content on this website is owned by or licensed to Bequest and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Confidentiality

Bequest treats all information shared by Clients as strictly confidential. We will not disclose Client information to third parties except where required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided in good faith based on the information and documents presented during sessions. Bequest does not verify the legal status, authenticity, or completeness of any document.

Nothing in these Terms or in any session constitutes a representation that a Client's estate, documents, or succession matters will be resolved in any particular way. Outcomes depend entirely on the work of the appropriate licensed professionals and official bodies, which are outside Bequest's scope.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Bequest's total liability to a Client in connection with any Service shall not exceed the fee paid for that specific session or programme.

Bequest is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from the use of our Services or reliance on information provided in educational sessions.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or our Services shall first be addressed through direct communication between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts appropriate to Krabi Province.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of our Services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
